Bibles and Reference Works (1808–1903)
Bible translations and reference works that the Society used and quoted before and alongside its own New World Translation, and the standard concordances of the 19th and early 20th centuries (Young's Analytical Concordance, Wigram's Englishman's Hebrew and Greek concordances, Hudson's and Moulton and Geden's Greek concordances), with which a reader can check how a Hebrew or Greek word is used and translated. The Emphatic Diaglott was published by the Watch Tower Society itself from 1902, from plates it acquired; the others were published independently. The Society's own Bibles and concordances (the Kingdom Interlinear, the Comprehensive Concordance) are in Books.
These works were not published by the Watch Tower Society; see the Related Works section page for why they are in this library.
